McCloud is located in the southeastern corner of Siskiyou County, which is located in inland Northern California, adjacent to the Oregon border. Mt. Shasta towers to the north of town. McCloud is located off highway 89, just 12 miles east of the Interstate 5. The nearest large cities are Redding, California (about 53 miles to the south) and Medford, Oregon (about 87 miles to the north).

A group of McCloud-impassioned residents who partner with the McCloud Chamber of Commerce to identify, organize, raise funds, and implement projects which improve the image of our beloved town. MCCLOUD CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
The McCloud Chamber is an all volunteers organization. As such, they can always use help in the Visitor’s Center and at the events. The Chamber puts on such events as the Mushroom Festival, the Annual Flea Market, the Apple Harvest Festival, Mountain the Mountain, Santa at the Museum, and the Victorian Christmas. MCCLOUD GOLF CLUB
McCloud Golf Course is a 9-hole regulation course. From the longest tees, it offers 6060 yards of golf for a par of 36. Tee times are recommended, but open play is welcomed. Golf carts, walking carts and golf clubs are available to rent. The course has a driving range for practice and range balls can be purchased at the pro shop. SQUAW VALLEY RIDING CLUB
As a member of SVRC, there are many ways you can get involved. They host social activities, casual get-togethers, and annual events. The community of volunteers offers their expertise and labor for projects at the clubhouse and grounds. They also host equestrian events. 500 Highway 89, McCloud
